Photo kit for Africa

A few days left before we go so time to make sure we have all our kit ready. Martina is planning on taking lots of photos as we travel through Africa over the next three months.

We’re bringing both Canon R6 bodies so no switching lens in the dust.

16 mm for landscape

50 mm as it’s small, light, less intrusive in crowded market places and such

28 - 70 mm F2 - for portraits, low light. It’s big and heavy but produces amazing results.

70 - 200 mm F2.8 - great portraits at a distance and wildlife that’s not too far away.

100 - 500 mm F4.5 - 7.1 - this is a new lens we have bought for this trip.

6 batteries and a USB charger for use with external power

Small tripod, brush, filters for dusty desert locations, and an external drive. She will also bring her MacBook for editing on the go.
